About the Author
I’m Sarah, and I’m currently the only writer/owner of The Free Business Degree. I’m an entrepreneur and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University in 2018. I majored in Marketing, but I also double majored in accounting (not for me!)
I’ve always dreamed of having my own business. When I was a kid, one of the first jobs I wanted when I grew up was a balloon salesman. I thought college was the easiest way to become an entrepreneur, and I realized I was wrong.
I always went to class with the mindset I was there to learn how to be my own boss. Instead of looking for a job, I wanted to take what I learned in class and apply it to my own business. After college, I tried a few different business opportunities out. I had some successes some failures. Through my failures, I learned that college was helpful, but overall it was a waste of time and money when it comes to becoming an entrepreneur.
The idea for The Free business degree came from that desire to share all that I’ve learned (and continue to learn) to help others on their path towards self employment. It’s my hope to save you some time and other resources while you’re starting to create, design, and grow your business.
